What is a charter school?
Charter schools are public schools that operate under a performance contract, or a “charter”, which frees them from most rules and regulations created for traditional public schools. As part of the contract, charter schools are held strictly accountable for academic and financial results.

How do I register my child?
An application is available at our school’s office during school hours.
Is there a tuition fee?
No. An A school at no cost.
Are the teachers certified?
Yes. As a Miami Dade County Public School sponsored charter school, our teachers adhere to the same certification guidelines as public school teachers.
Is there a Before Care and After Care Program?
Yes. Centro Mater West Child Care Center.
What are the classroom sizes?
Classrooms are small and consist of a maximum of 25 students per classroom.
Do students need to wear uniform?
Yes, uniforms are mandatory.
How many hours of volunteer service are required during school year?
30 hours of parent volunteer service are required and parents must complete the School Volunteer Program Registration Form. It is available at the school’s office.
